neither tarnished, nor afraid
well, hello world. after indulging my habit of reading other people's blogs for far too long now, i have decided to take the plunge and begin one of my own. i'll try to add some memes and other items to the blog, but i envision it mainly as a forum for my random thoughts about my day to day struggles as a wannabe academic (yes, yes, another ABD joins the blogosphere) who more than anything wants to finish her PhD and begin the road to tenure.
tonight, however, i must grade: 2 sets of final papers and exams...the fun never ends!
